PROJECT SUMMARY
Bergen, Denia, Parma, Östersund and Gaziantep cities took part in a joint project to ensure sustainability in the field of gastronomy. The main purpose of this project is to share the knowledge and experiences of the cities, to attract young people's interest in Gastronomy and thus to investigate the effective methods of channeling them to occupational groups such as cookery and farming. The project started in 2017 will last for 2 years.
European commitment to gastronomy heritage: new cultural and educational new perspectives (2013/2181 (INI), Milan Urban Food policy agreement, UNESCO Creative Cities Network Statement, local value for improved recruitment and improved skills in vocational education in relation to the food value chain and regional calls.
